Daigo wins Evo2009 Street Fighter IV Championship as predicted by many. Below is the intense battle footage between him and Justin Wong, for those who have missed out on the live stream. Be sure to check them out!

Awesome show! The fight between Justin and Daigo was very intense. Justin used Abel at the start but switched to Balrog (boxer) when he was defeated twice by Daigo. The scales then tipped in Justin’s favor when he owned Daigo in the first 2 rounds of using boxer. But Daigo adapted quickly and the match turned into a back-and-forth slugfest between the 2, finally culminating in Justin’s defeat.
Elsewhere, Sabre did Sakura players proud by soundly beating 2 supposedly god-tier characters, Ryu and Balrog(boxer). He lost to Marn’s C.Viper subsequently but that was enough to prove the point. Truly incredible match.
Can’t wait for next year!!1
Sanford’s Cammy was incredibly good as well, taking out Dan’s ryu in the twinkling of an eye. It was indeed the rise of the low-tier fighters, as there was no Sagat or Seth that made it to the top 8. So much for the complains that both of them are “overpowered”. Nevertheless, I suggest all SF4 fans, hardcore or casual, to check out the evo2009 videos.
That said, I’m definitely looking forward to next’s year compy.
